MSNBC - White House targets Clark

"'They are vulnerable, which is why they are attacking so hard,' Thurber said. 'You have to go back to Vietnam or Watergate to get the same feel about the structure of argument coming out of the White House against Clarke's statements. They've had multiple people rebutting him, with information that is incomplete and selective at best.'" That is becuase that is the best they have to throw at him, first O'Neill says all of this and we all ignore him (i'm guilty too) as a protagisist who want wants to get back at the Bush admin with a book deal waiting in the wings, but then we have Clarke who has been through multiple presidencies and is somewhat bipartisian and has beeen a counterterrorism official going all the way back to the first Bush, then i start to hear him repeat what O'Neill said. Bush was after Huesien from the get-go, which is not bad thing, but you shoudl not tell your country about having intelligence about WMD that the enemy posseses (which has not been found yet) and that they should turn there backs to the world (and our previous allies) and invade Iraq to take over one man's rule, all based on information that he [Bush] might have thought was true at the time, but we see a year later is false. (Bad Intelligence?) Something isn't right here, our economy is shit, and the world hates us, what good has Bush really done except oust the Taliban and Sadaam? Nothing any president with a good army could have done had they wanted too. I am not voting for Bush, nor Kerry, but for anyone on the fence I hope he catches Bin Ladin... Lord knows he needs it. I just hope Bin Ladin is not in Canada, becuase Bush will probably tell us of of his intellegence that Canada has WMD. MSNBC - White House targets Clark
