OPEC agrees to implement production cuts - Mar. 31, 2004

It is my belief that within 15-20 years, there will a different source of energy that will power maybe 50% of the transportation methods in the US. I think that this will make our econom stronger through innovation. The only thing that we cannot do is let Oil Executives hamper the efforts for this because of a loss of profits for thier companies. Once we even cut 25% into our OPEC oil neccesity and do not need that 25% anymore. The middle east is going to be a scary place. The deviation among the rich and the poor will reduce from the amazing gap that it is today. It will force them to innovate and restructure business much like our economy and that of the UK and China's economy today and that of Japan's in the 1980s. Would be a different world, if we could just not let Oil Execs impact our political system as much. One thing that I can say that GW has done well is allocate funds to the research of these studies even though he comes from an Oil family. We still need an non oilman president though.
